Hi Gerry! Your website is out of sight. You've outdone yourself & should be
extremely proud. You are a very special, creative & passionate person. I want to thank
you for the personal tour of Whitemarsh. It was a night that I will never forget! Very
magical, just like you (& me!) Even the sky was full of stars that night. Haven't seen
that in ages. Keep up this creativity-never let go of it,it's your special gift!! I will
always remember you!! P.S. Keep a bottle of good Merlot chilled for me & you again.
Hopefully soon!! Carol Drigo

Hi Gerry. I have just finished a virtual visit to Whitemarsh Hall. It was great!
Actually, I lived in the Philadelphia area (Mt. Airy) years ago ('70's) and have visited
the old Stotesbery mansion. Could our paths have crossed? It was nice to re-visit. So
sorry to hear it is not standing anymore. Your photos brought back some great memories.
Thanks, Cindy

Thanks for all the good info on Stotesbury Mansion. I was visiting my parents in
Wyndmoor for Thanksgiving and my brother and I took his family up to see the remains of
Stotesbury (what LITTLE is left). We did lots of reminiscing about our childhood treks
through the backyards & up the hill, to explore the mansion. Realizing my knowledge of
Stotesbury is a combination of fact and fiction, I did a search today and found your site.
It couldn't have been a better find. Your information was fascinating and your experiences
at the mansion seem very similar to mine. I suppose we share that with a generation of
kids from Wyndmoor. The pictures you included were fabulous and brought back lots of
memories. I immediately emailed your website address to my brother. I would love a way to
get prints of a photo or two. Any suggestions on how I might find some? Thanks for such an
insightful tour. I even pinpointed my parents' house on the aerial map! PS-I enjoyed
exploring the rest of your site too!

I love your page it is so intriguing to me. I like to look at houses (floor plans)
and see how I can change them I might only be 13 but I defintly want to be an
drafter/decorator etc... I wish that someone would restore this wonderful fantastic house.
It makes me sick to look at the damage. Maybe someday someone can build a repilica and
have it as a museum or something.

Hello, Just wandering the web to see if there were any early pictures of the Walsh
Mansion in Washington D.C. Like you I grew up wandering Walsh (now the Indonesian Embassy)
since my dad worked there. Saw your page in the search and thought that I might stop by.
Wonderful pictures. I love that turn of the century craftmanship. Where did you fing those
early pictures and how did you manage to get them scanned? Truly breath taking. Thanks!

Gerry! We had probably crossed paths wandering around Stotesbury Mansion. I grew up
in the area, and as teenagers used to go there and explore. Remember the Sub-basements,
Bowling Alley, Barber Shop? At the time we had found pictures there of Cadillac Limos
parked in the front. From the looks of the pictures, they were from the early 60's. Wish I
had them today for ya. Thanks Again for the Web Page. reading your introduction made me
live those same days all over again.......Much Appreciation!!!!!!

the Whitemarsh Hall pages have provided some fascinating insights. Was a full biography of
